Sweat costs you more than water.

Heavy legs, cramping, fading concentration and a slow bounce-back can all point back to what the session cost you.

Every batch of Lemon Lime, Raspberry and Blackcurrant is HASTA™ certified — tested by a NATA-accredited lab and screened for 250+ banned substances.

Certified batches are listed with Sport Integrity Australia, so you're not just taking our word for it.

At this level, I need to trust what I put into my body. Purelyte replaces the electrolytes I lose through hard training and games, without the sugar or unnecessary ingredients. It tastes great and gives me confidence that my hydration is taken care of every time I step on court.

How to use it

Before

Start the session well euhydrated (fully hydrated) by drinking one sachet mixed in 600-800 mL of water, 30-60 mins prior.

Absorption begins within minutes: Research shows fluid can begin appearing in the bloodstream within around five minutes, with most progressively absorbed over the following 30–60 minutes.

During

Mix one sachet in 600-800 ml according to the conditions and your taste preference.

Even when not thirsty, sip as regularly as possible because absorption and sweat loss occur continuously.

After

Drink one Purelyte mixed with 800-1200 mL of water in the first hour after exercise. Try to replace 100-110% of fluid lost with Purelyte (1kg of weight loss + 1000 mL of fluid lost). This restores blood volume and minerals lost through heavy sweat for faster recovery.

Normally you aim to restore 150% of the fluid lost over the first 1.5 hours after exercise by drinking water. But Purelyte helps you retain fluid ~30% better than water alone.

"The higher the level of performance, the bigger difference the small things make. That's why I take Purelyte before, during and after games. So I can stay at peak performance longer and recover faster. It's great during games as I can drink quite alot in breaks without leaving me feeling bloated and heavy."

FAQs

Which flavours are HASTA™ certified?

Lemon Lime, Raspberry and Blackcurrant are HASTA™ certified. These flavours are independently batch tested for more than 250 substances prohibited under the World Anti-Doping Code and are listed on the Sport Integrity Australia app.

Pineapple is not currently HASTA™ certified, so drug-tested athletes should choose one of the three certified flavours.

How much should I drink during training?

For athletes seeking high performance, mix one sachet with 600-800 mL of cold water. Adjusted to your taste, sweat rate and conditions.

Begin drinking 30-60 minutes before training and competition and sip regularly throughout. During longer, hotter or sweat-heavy sessions, use approximately one sachet for every litre of sweat lost. Individual needs vary, so avoid drinking significantly more fluid than you are losing.

Can I use Purelyte alongside carbohydrates?

Yes. Purelyte replaces fluid and electrolytes without adding a significant carbohydrate load, so it can be used alongside gels, chews, sports foods or other carbohydrate sources.

Keeping carbohydrates and hydration separate lets you adjust each one to suit the session. Mix Purelyte with water rather than adding it to another electrolyte or sports drink, which could make the drink unnecessarily concentrated.

Note carbs are generally not needed unless you are doing relatively continuous exercise longer than 45 minutes.

Is it suitable for competition day?

Yes. Purelyte is designed for use before, during and after training or competition. Start drinking it 30–60 minutes before you compete, sip throughout where practical and continue replacing losses afterwards.

If you have multiple games/sessions on the same day or on back to back days, recovery via hydration, fuelling and rest (preferably sleep) is key.

As with any competition nutrition strategy, test Purelyte and your full fuelling plan during training first. Drug-tested athletes should choose Lemon Lime, Raspberry or Blackcurrant and confirm the product’s certification through the Sport Integrity Australia app.
